Project Description
The aim of MCRE project is to foster adult education, to increase they media literacy and critical viewing, and to increase the adaptability to the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic among the people with fewer opportunities (low qualified persons, unemployed youth, adults at poverty risk, etc.) and adult educators.
Objectives
The project aims to support adults in analysing information so that they can be more resilient to fake news and disinformation and equip them with tools (mobile application) to analyse fake news.
Target Group
The main target group is people aged 50+ and low-skilled or low-qualified adults of the 6 participant countries, however the main outcome is addressed to adults from across the European Union.
Project results
- MCRE E-book will be a collection of content that will enhance the necessary critical thinking skills of the European community (and in particular the target group of this project) in order to improve their ability to process information from different media.
- MCRE mobile app which will consist of action cards and quizzes on how to analyse the information you receive and be more resilient to fake news.
